I wasn’t big about going up the Empire State the last time I was here because I heard about the painful queues, but after my night on the Lower East Side, I decided to crawl out of bed on Sunday and do something touristy. It was definitely worth the twenty dollars I forked out to go up – and best thing about going in winter = no 2-hour long queues. Just make sure you don’t wear a skirt like I did – gets pretty windy up there. D’oh.
